The day finally came to see who made the All-Stars team. (They posted the sheet at the Boys Club) We were so excited to see Hayes' name along with 5 of his good friends on that list! Turns out they formed 2 teams because there were over 100 boys in this division. Matt was able to be one of the coaches since our team came in first place.

Even though Districts didn't turn out in our favor, we were able to play in the State Tournament since we hosted. Once again (and some poor calls later), not a great ending to that story either. But, the boys played their hearts out and definitely showed all the hard work they had put into the year. We have lived baseball for the past 12 weeks and although hard at times, it was all so worth it!

I had such a great time "hollerin" for Hayes this year! He is REALLY turning into a baseball player...I was shocked at how strong his arm is when he throws...and how passionate he became this year about the game! I can't wait until next year...there will be even MORE to watch! I am so proud of HAYES and also MATT...they both put their hearts into the season.
